Topanga Canyon Overlook
This past weekend I had to go to Woodland Hills to drop off my Rent the Runway bag. I'm trying it out for the month and in order to get the most out of my subscription, I've gotta haul ass all the way there to drop stuff off because you can't get new clothes until you send back your old ones.
I figured while I was up there I might as well try to do some sightseeing. After a quick google search I landed upon Topanga Canyon Overlook, a little park that is easily accessible by car.
The road up was a little scary as it had some steep turns in addition to, you know, being kind of on a mountain.
When we got to the park the view was incredible. You could see the entire valley (which one, I couldn't tell you).
You could also see part of the devastation from the Woolsey Fire from a few weeks ago. Part of the park was cordoned off by fences, so I wonder if there used to be more of it that is inaccessible for the time being. I hope so, because otherwise it's basically a parking lot with a very nice view.
If you're ever in the Northern LA area, the Topanga Canyon Overlook is a great pit stop, especially for a picnic.
