Glossybox November 2018 Review

Dsc 0006

It's the month of giving thanks and Glossybox is here to deliver! This month's box is a gorgeous limited edition in a deep red. As with every Glossybox, it comes wrapped up in a bow along with a guide to the box's contents. I always skip the guide before hand so I can be surprised.

Here's what was in this months box:

Steve Laurant Lip Gloss in Eggplant

This one really hit the mark for me. My favorite makeup choice for my lips is a highly pigmented lipgloss. The color is a beautiful mix of red and burgundy that I have a feeling would be flattering on any skintone. The wear on this is about two hours, which is to be expected for a lipgloss like this. It leaves behind a similar shade to a lip stain as well, which is nicer than it just melting to nothingness.

Lauren B Cuticle Oil

I take pretty terrible care of my nails, admittedly, so cuticle oil was never high on my list of things to try. Putting it on brought me back to living in New Jersey where my mom and I would get manicures all the time because they were so cheap there. The oil is infused with several essential oils as well, so its like putting a mini essential oil diffuser on your fingers. Love it.

Georgia Hand Cream

I wish I could've brought this to Boston with me! Both this and the cuticle oil are so useful during dry, cold Winter months. In LA it never gets cold enough for my hands to dry out, but they definitely do on the East Coast. The scent is lightly floral and clean.

Kenra Dry Shampoo

This one I'm saving for when my hair is a bit longer. It's still short enough that I can get away with washing it everyday without it drying out. I love Kenra products though so I'm sure this one will work wonders.

Cirem Sheet Mask

My favorite product of the bunch! This sheet mask makes every other sheet mask I've tried look like a paper towel with some soap squirted on it. The package is almost overflowing with serums, to the point where after I had put on the mask, I had enough for my neck and shoulders. What makes this mask so great: it's designed to loop around your ears so it stays secure on your face and it really locks the serums in. I put this on the night before an event I had and my skin was so glowy the next day. The sheet masks normally retail for $22 each, so they're on the splurge side of things.

That's all for the box contents! In a few weeks I'll be starting the Advent Calendar, stay tuned for weekly recaps of that <3

Glossybox retails for $21/month , you can check out their site here to subscribe.
